In 1959 Luigi Vecchia founded Dietetici Moderni s.a.s. with the aim of producing dietetic foods for consumers with specific nutritional needs.
The first granular vegetable mix in Italy, Naturalbrodo Sublime, was born. It was firstly sold in the pharmacy channel and later it would be called Dialbrodo.
In 1972 the company took the name of Dialcos S.p.A. At the end of the ’80s, Dialbrodo expanded its range and arrived in the main retail chains.
In 2000, we caught the opportunity to collaborate with the Italian Coeliac Disease Association (AIC): we reformulated our recipes and achieved the most important gluten-free certification in Europe.
In 2006, we began producing gluten-free pasta to meet the growing demand for quality in such sector: traditional Italian taste, no allergens and additives.
In 2020 a new era of Dialbrodo development started; we strengthened the range of granular Broths and launched new products in the extended category.
